Step into the International Room for the Easter "service" you absolutely did not grow up attending.
The Burlesque Easter Pageant is exactly what it sounds like, and also somehow more than that. It's a full congregation experience, complete with free tambourines, communion wine, a hymnal packed with songs that would make your grandmother check her calendar twice, and call-and-response moments that get increasingly difficult to explain to anyone who wasn't there. Spring rituals, playful pageantry, and a bump or two of grind, all wrapped in something that starts familiar and blooms into something considerably more interesting.
Presiding over the flock is the Rev. Tapitha Kix, shepherding a lineup of performers with titles that suggest they have spent a great deal of time thinking about this:
- Sister Mary Muse
- Brother Kit Valentine
- Saint Orion St. Michael
- High Priestess Bunny Vicious
- Rev. Mother Ladie Bladie
- Choirmaster Thots 'n' Prayers
- Church organist & youth pastor Dirk Hamfist
The evening moves through rebirth-themed acts, springtime ritual, the holy spirit (or something in that neighborhood), and one genuinely devilish glass-walking spectacle. Never mean-spirited. Relentlessly joyful. Irreverent in exactly the way that seems correct for the occasion.
You are not the audience. You are the congregation. Clap. Shake the tambourine. Sip. Let the spirit take you wherever it goes.

$30 — The Favored Flock (VIP, limited to 12): front row seating and an Easter gift personally delivered by the Reverend herself
